The theoretical phase is focused on:
- Operational requirements and related AMCs and GM relevant to the duties;
- National requirements relevant to the examination duties;
- Fundamentals of human performance and limitations relevant to flight examination;
- Fundamentals of evaluation relevant to applicant’s performance;
- The management system of ATOs and the organizational structure of DTOs;
- MCC;
- Human performance and limitations;
- The national administrative procedures and requirements;
- and more.
PRACTICE

The practical part consists of:
- Four instrument check profiles in the role of examiner;
- Skill test and proficiency check;
- Assessment of the applicant to whom the test or check is given (2 check profiles in one FFS);
- Debriefing and recording of documentation;
- and more.
Assessment of Competence, an additional FFS session carried out by the National CAA examiner or Senior Type Rating Examiner assigned by ATO, may be completed upon request.
